OWA TV card #2

 OWA Card 2:

Intro plays and already Davey Richards is in the ring.

"Last Week during the battle royal we saw some of the toughest, hardest hitting, and craziest wrestlers in professional wrestling today come together to battle for the OWA Heavyweight Championship! Some might say that I just got lucky having the number 30 spot coming into the match and but want cannot be disputed is American Strong Style has come to the OWA!" says Richards to a large pop from the crowd.

"Now I want to make it absolutely clear that it was no fluke, no amount of luck, no bit of divine intervention that brought me the victory last week to attain this title. I am and will always be a fighting champion and so I put out an open challenge to the boys in the back. If you got what it takes to go toe to toe with the American wolf I will defend the title tonight!"

Again a roar of approval from the fans in the crowd and then Josh Briggs music plays as he steps out onto the ramp.

"Good that didn't take long, well Josh you want first crack at me that's fine. I'll see you in the ring later tonight"

Adam Cole vs Mike Mondo - dud

Winner - Mike Mondo via No Fear DDT

A quick match that saw Mondo come out of the gate with a flurry of strong offense before delivering the fatal blow with the No Fear DDT and a cover on the dazed Adam Cole. As soon as Mondo has his arm raised by the ref, the young bucks slide into the ring and deliver a pair of super kicks taking out Mondo but shortly after Rhino and Roderick strong slide into the ring and begin to brawl with the bucks before they quickly slide out of the ring alongside Cole. Has the house of Truth come to the OWA? If so what why did they come to the aid of Mondo?

Warhausen vs Wrestle Factory - * star

Winner - WARHORSE via Scorpion Deathlock on Coleman

A back and forth match starting with Danhausen going against Cedric followed by several tag team moves between the two teams. A failed C&C connection saw an opportunity for Danhausen to tag out to WARHORSE who hits with a double stomp on Coleman but is unable to get the pin. They trade a few more blows but eventually WARHORSE drops Coleman to the mat and locks in the scorpion deathlock in the middle of the ring. Danhausen throws himself in the way of Cedric preventing him from breaking the hold and WARHORSE deepens the hold and Coleman taps out.

Ciampa vs Mance Warner - Battle of the pyschopaths Falls count anywhere -  ** stars

Winner - Mance Warner with the lariat

Things started well in Ciampa's favor with some early offense that quickly turned sour as he delivered a hard irish whip into the turnbuckle and goes for a spear that Warner is able to dodge out of the way of driving his own shoulder hard against the post. The Southern Pyscho wastes no time and follows Ciampa out of the ring and they begin to brawl on the outside and all the way to the back and eventually into the parking lot. Mance lifts Ciampa up and drives him down through the windshield of a parked car and goes for a pin but Ciampa kicks out at 2. Not finished with him yet he pulls him up out of the car but there is amazingly still some life left in Ciampa as he begins to trade punches Warner all the way back into the arena. Warner then powerbombs him through the announcers table and somehow Ciampa kicks out again. While Warner begins to look for a weapon under the ring to finish him off, Ciampa staggers to his feet and grabs one of the steel chairs abandoned by the now demolished announcers table and brings it down hard on Warner several times before throwing him back into the ring. The two brawl in the ring but Mance spots an opening and delivers a devastating lariat on an exhausted Ciampa for the victory.

Alex Colon vs G-Raver - No Ropes Barbed Wire Deathmatch - **** stars

Winner - Alex Colon via Deathjump through table

This match was a war as each of them wasted no time throwing each other into lightube towers and barbed boards setup in the ring corners. Colon gets the upperhand and flings Raver into the barbed wire getting him tangled and falling out of the ring. Colon grabs a fork and begins to use it on Ravers head as he struggles to get out of the barbed wire. Eventually he frees himself and he goes on the offense while Alex was showboating to the crowd. They trade shots in the ring but a solid hit brings Alex down which gives G-Raver time to pull out his trademark Tattoo needles and jabs Colon. He then goes to the top rope and hits the meteora but Colon kicks out at 2. Colon slides out of the ring and starts to compose himself and Raver follows him to the outside only to get suplexed into a pane of glass setup on some chairs. Colon throws him over the guard rail and they begin to brawl among the crowd Colon keeping the advantage and throwing him back over the rail and they return to the ring where they go into a light tube battle but Colon then slams Raver down hard on the glass covered mat and sets up a door ontop of 2 chairs and places G-Raver on top of it. Alex leaps from the top rope and comes crashing down on Raver putting him through the door and getting the pin. John Wayne Murdoch slides comes down to the ring and gets face to face with Alex Colon they look like they are about to square off but then they look at the downed G-Raver and begin to put boots to him before they have enough and leave the ring. G-Raver drags himself out of the ring and to the spanish teams announcer table and takes a microphone. "Murdoch.....*heavy breathing*....You and me....*heavy breathing*.....Next week...." and collapses with medical personnel coming to his aid. It looks like G-Raver wants a chance at revenge next week, will he be in any shape to compete?

Davey Richards vs Josh Briggs - OWA Heavyweight Championship - *** stars

Winner - Davey Richards via Alarm Clock into pin

Davey Richards shakes Briggs hand and then immediately goes to work on him. The American wolf looks like he wants to put this to bed early as he just hammers Briggs into a corner and just begins to kick him to death until the ref pulls him back. Davey put on an ankle lock but Briggs is able to grab the bottom rope to break the hold. Another series of brutal hard hitting kicks leaves Briggs winded before being hit with the alarm clock and unable to resist the pin attempt.
