Next week will be the announcement of the Flight to the Top tournament to crown the first ever

OWA Cruiserweight Champion. 10 Competitors have been selected and their placement brackets will

be revealed as well as the first matches in the series will be held next week.

Elgenerico vs Ace Austin - singles ****1/2 Stars

Winner - El Generico via Brainbustaaaahhhh!

Some great high flying action back and forth action with several leaps of faith over the top rope. Austin was able to escape the Brainbustaaaahhh! once but was quickly stunned and El Generico delivered the move to devastating effect for the victory. 

Warhausen vs Dem Boyz - Tag Team ** stars

Winner - WARHORSE via pin on Mark

Danhausen and Mark started the match with a series of blows and maneuver each trying to out do the other, but Danhausen got the upper hand and while Mark was down tagged out to WARHORSE who came in with a wrecking balls fury. A series of horsepower slams and even a doublestomp from the ring apron he looked like he had it in the bag, however a mis-timed move allowed mark to tag out and Jay came in hot with some hard hitting moves of his own. He tagged mark in and setup WARHORSE for the Doomsday device but Danhausen was able to make the save and while the referee was distracted with the wild brawl that ensued, Dan Hausen as able to deliver a punch to the groin on Mark allowing WARHORSE to go for the pin and the win.

Homicide vs Trent Beretta - Singles *1/2 stars

Winner - Trent via gobstopper

Homicide got in some good moves but Trent was a bit faster and hit harder keeping Homicide dazed most of the match which included hitting both the dudebuster and finishing it off with the gobstopper. 

Mike Bennet/Maria vs Tom Lawlor - Singles ***** stars

Winner - Mike via distraction from Maria followed by rollup pin

A very hard fought battle between these 2. Filthy tom was busted open about halfway through the match and fought with a crimson mask but kept kicking out move after move. Having suffered 3 box office smashes and a photo finish all near the end of the match, with a few near fall victories of his own however a timely distraction by the lovely Maria kept the referee from noticing when it mattered most. Further distracting Tom, Mike was able to grab a sneak pin and the 3 count. 

Mondo, Roderick Strong and Rhino/truth Martini vs Adam Cole and The Young Bucks - Trios * star

Winner - Rhino via GORE! on Matt

Adam cole was on fire giving near falls on both Mondo and Roderick early in the match, then tagging out to Matt who then tagged in Nick to hit with more bang for your buck. Martini tried to interfere but Adam Cole just knocked him out from ring side. Nick tagged back out to Matt but Roderick was able to tag

out to Rhino who came in and cleaned house. Quickly scoring a gore on matt who barely kicked out before Rhino went to the corner and delivered another savage match ending GORE! to bring it to a close.

G-Raver vs John Wayne Murdoch - Deathmatch - ** stars

Winner - G-Raver via Knee Lift with Lighttube followed by pinfall

G-Raver came out tonight and with out waiting for the match to start poured out 2 bags of thumbtacks on the mat. Locking up with Murdock he lifted him up and brought him straight down into the tacks. He pulls him up and throws him out of the ring from where he proceeds to put him through the announcers table. While he is struggling to recover he grabs a piggly wiggly bag and starts to sufficate him before throwing him back into the ring. A series of knee lifts with light tubes later Murdoch goes down for the 3 count.
